The Amazing Wedding of Diana & Danny | Castello di Vincigliata in Fiesole Italy | Gavin Conlan Photographer | Florence, Italy Wedding Photography | www.gavinconlan.com

Hopefully by now you've had the chance to view their Engagement photographs, if you haven't then you can do so here.

Right where do I begin, after getting back to my hotel room at 3am I was far to excited to go to sleep so I began editing a few TEASER shots from the shoot, an hour or so later I decided enough was enough and I needed to get some well earned sleep.

A couple of hours later and about five snoozes on the alarm clock I finally got out of bed, the sun was blazing through the window and the reality of everything started to sink in - I had photographed an EPIC Engagement Session and I was about to pack my kit and move on to the Fattoria di Maiano Apartments where Diana, Danny and their friends and family were staying.

Before heading to the Fattoria di Maiano I jumped a taxi to Danny and Diana's Wedding Venue the OUTSTANDING Castello di Vincigliata for a recce with Diana, Danny and their fantastic Wedding Planner Francesca.  The taxi ride from Florence to the Castello was a non stop photography opportunity, the small winding roads cutting through the Tuscan hills was beautiful and I would recommend everyone to visit Florence.  As I approached the Castello it's true beauty was beginning to be revealed and honestly it was stunning, walking around the grounds and then into the Castello itself my brain was working over drive with all the photo possibilities, unfortuntely the weather was having other ideas for their wedding day.

After we finished the recce we headed back to the Fattoria, I checked into my apartment (WOW) photographed all the bridal details and then relaxed with the guests for the rest of day, by now it was almost certain the weather wasn't going to be that great so I pre-planned a few locations we could use in my head, to be honest whatever the weather I knew we were going to get amazing imagery so I wasn't concerned at all.

Their Wedding Day had finally arrived and as we feared the weather wasn't great but on the plus side it was very atmospheric, I spent the morning finishing off the detail shots, locations and as many portraits as I could before heading to the Castello to wait for Diana's arrival.

Their Wedding was absolutely amazing, Diana and Danny are a stunning couple and are so much fun to work with, their day flew by and it was an absolute honour to be apart of it.

Francesca was a fantastic help and she made sure everything ran smoothly on the day, she was a real joy to work alongside in giving Diana & Danny the most perfect of days.

As you'll scroll down you'll see a selection of teaser images and their fantastic online slideshow showcasing their complete Wedding Day. As the slideshow is flash based you'll notice it doesn't work on any apple devices such as the iPhone and iPad, to view the show on these devices you'll need to download the puffin web browser for free in the app store.

I hope you all love what you see, feel free to add a comment below and/or share it on facebook and any other social media platforms.

All the best,

Gavin
